Born in New York, Dr. Matos relocated to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, at age 14. He completed dental school in 1993, and in 2011, he obtained his doctorate of dental science degree. He practiced in New Jersey up until he relocated to Texas with his fiancée, Lela, and cat, Grace. He enjoys cooking, cycling, snowboarding, and rooting for the New York Yankees.
